Hajj

Hours ago, I was busy experimenting with CSS to alter the colors of this blog and initially, I wanted to do something different and distinct, like, mixing BLACK with MAGENTA or TURQUOISE in the color scheme but I was too lazy to find each element's name. Well ya know, it can cause you pain the ass looking for each and test em.

untitled-1

And not all the colors in Photoshop you can simply put in Web/HTML/CSS because they will display wrongly.

So, today, you see the new colors. Haha. Colors? I think it shouldn't called colors as it's monochrome. Only BLACK, GREY and WHITE. Except the pictures to be excused.

About, 8.30pm, I accompanied my parents to go to UiTM Shah Alam and it's Ustaz Idris' place at Kolej Seroja. Eizaz knows about him too, we were his students while in Maahad Tahfiz Al-Azhariah. Yes. Maahad Tahfiz. For those, the UNBELIEVERS, please bang your head off the wall. Haha. I came from a religious background and I know, who i turned out to be.

dsc00384

He was the Chief (should I call it Chief) Imam at Masjid Al-Azhariah in front of my house so my family kinda have a close relationship with his family. And since he left his previous post at the Masjid, I didn't know what's his current position at UiTM until I found this in front of his house's door.

It's PEGAWAI PEMBANGUNAN PELAJAR. Haha. But, he said that he's an Imam at Pusat Islam UiTM. I don't know lah.

dsc00362

He's a kind of man that I respect. His endless effort to further his study even so many problems and obstacles that struck him. Still fresh in my mind, when he was teaching at Tahfiz just behind my Sekolah Agama, when I was only 12 years old, he holds a bachelor's degree that time. And now, he's Master in sort of Islamic course in UM and now, doing his PhD! And if I'm not mistaken, he told me that he applied for a lecturer position in UiTM. So, for those who're taking CTU papers, u should thank God that Ustaz Idris is a one fine man to be your lecturer.

dsc00382

And the picture above, in red kopiah is him. He has only 2 sons in his family and all shaved bald.

He's leaving for Hajj this year anytime soon. The reminiscence of Hajj Akhbar in 2006 still fresh in my mind and I can't believe that time is moving so fast.

Time is moving so fast but don't move so fast lah. Haha.

I'm feeling anxious and nervous counting days to go to Segamat. Another one month!

Oh my goodness.

Tomorrow (Thursday) I'm going to Northpoint, Midvalley to collect my Walkman. Oh thank God, finally!

Tagalog

Hi.

I went for the latest Bond movie installment, Quantum of Solace yesterday at MidValley with Faizal.

All I can say, the movie was GREAT! For scale from 1 to 10, I'd give 9.

Of course there weren't a lot of cool gadgets except the latest Sony Ericsson phone, C902 and the favorite Aston Martin V12 only appear for only a scene in the movie, but overall, it's action packed and not too vanilla like the previous installments Bond movie played by Pierce Brosnan.

I love Daniel Craig as the James Bond and Olga Kurylenko
as the Bond girl (for God sake, I forgot the character's name and it's Camille)

What I like about 'Quantum of Solace':

  1. Real action, no 'vanilla' romeo actions like in previous Bond movies. Haha.

  2. Thrilling car stunts in the beginning.

  3. Functioning Bond girl, not only exploited for her looks but also action-packed.

  4. The location of filming – around beautiful Europe.

What I didn't care of:

  1. Gadgets

  2. The sexyness of the Bond girl

What I dislike :

  1. The soundtrack of Quantum of Solace.

The instrumental version of the song is great but, when it mixes with vocal, it sucks like hell.

Good job, Mr Daniel Craig, Marc Forster, my gf; Olga Kurylenko
(HAHA!) and the production team. Well done!

And after the movie, I took my favourite, Guacamole Bacon burger at Carl's Jr as my supper and a Pinoy girl came to me for Children Hope fund. It's a donation thingy and I didn't know why, I was pretty excited when she came to me.

Why?

Maybe she speaks Tagalog!

Haha.

I love to learn interesting foreign cultures and language which happened to Deutsch not long time ago.

And now, I'd like to learn Tagalog. Anyone?

Shalom!

:D

Long Time No Update

Hello.

Sorry sorry sorry for no update after quite a long time.

I was busy indeed and no mood. Hit by two roads, and emotion distortion.

Haha.

So, with pictures SLUTTIER than ever, with W760i, without autofocus, the pictures go blurrer than ever.

Okay, that's Etie, waiting in front of the Account department for her account to be cleared so she can get the result for her final examination. That was the last time my presence at MSU and I was pinched and pinched and pinched by Syahirah and Etie to make a good choice pursuing at MSU for the same course.

But the next day, I made up my mind, I went to MSU to pass my withdrawal form.

And, a few classmates declared COLD WAR with me. haha. They boycotted me just because I left MSU after my first semester there.

I went to Taman Tasik Shah Alam yesterday with my boyfriends, Zul and Fazri after quite a long time not meeting them. Kinda miss them, seriously but I wasn't in mood to talk more. Haha. I don't know why and Fazri can't stop asking me what's wrong and what's wrong and what's wrong with me.

dsc00213

But I managed to draw a smile upon my face. haha. that's cool.

Unfortunately, Fazri lost his expensive Oakley sunshade there at Tasik. What an unfortunate. I know it's not cheap and at first, he thought that I'm playing hide-and-seek with him but truly, I'm not!

And, a serious traffic jam at Glenmarie - Batu Tiga interchange. I really2 hate it!

dsc00224

But to fetch my friend, Zul, home, ah, I had to. (Haha. Do I sound like I'm ikhlas? :P And I look like, err... I dont know!)

And today, I was so excited to attend Faizal's girlfriend, Sellina's convocation at Dewan Sri Budiman at UiTM Shah Alam! But before that, I fetch those peep, Azerol, Alwi and him, Faizal of course at Kerinchi and went to Pyramid to buy some stuff and a convocation present.

Oh ya, Shida was there. They're my deary friends from UiTM Sarawak and Faizal, from UiTM Sabah, flew down to KL just for the convocation!

dsc00295

This one captured by Alwi. Not interesting. Haha.

dsc00294

This one captured by me. Of course photogenic. :P

Didnt know what to buy so I bought her a dozen of J Co donuts. As I never give anyone a convocation present before and I hate flowers and bears at convocations, I hope she like it. :)

After the convocation, the UiTM went crazy and jammed at entrances so, we camwhored in car. I tell you, that Sellina is pure genius, she's a ANC (Anugerah Naib Canselor or Vice Chancellor Award in English). Ah, pandainya!

Missing.

Hello again.

I'm missing this blog, really.

So, gotta be brief, I will only update this blog on Tuesday to clarify things.

Hehe.

So, stay tuned.

Shalom.

7 Things.

A very good morning.

Yesterday I was tagged by Rara and frankly speaking, I don't like being tagged. Haha.

Have to answer lengthy questions and this time,

7 Weird Things About Yourself

Err.

What's weird about me heh?

Village of the Damned.

I told you in the previous post that I've been posted to Sg Buloh branch. So, if you could read the text in picture above, I just want you to know that Sg Buloh isn't for everyone. It's DANGEROUS I can tell. Hoho. :D

The management called me yesterday evening and brought me up the news that I have to work at Sg Buloh branch today. So, there's no 'Two Choice' or 'Three Choice' or whatsoever. Only 'One Choice'. I have to operate the branch there.

My sleep wasn't really interuppted. I usually wake up at 6 - 6.30 am. But today's routine changed. I left home at 7.30 am compared to previous days, 9.00 am to work at the Klang branch.

Reached KL Sentral, grabbed my breakfast at Subway and staff who attended me this morning happened to be half-deaf I guess. I asked for 'Tuna & Turkey' not 'Tuna & Egg'. I don't mind I don't mind. As long as I can fill my empty stomach in the morning.

The taxi fare from the Sg Buloh's KTM Komuter station slit my throat with RM10 one-way only even the distance was quite near. Not even like KTM Subang to Pyramid. So I reached the branch at 9.30 am sharp. I'm proud of my punctuality. Haha.

Okay, okay, cut the crap.

The branch was so damn boring. My view of the day, a police station. How boring!! And the boreness doesnt stop there, plus, the internet connection is so fucking crappy, the computer system is not functioning well (maybe because of trojan as I looked up for it online) Nothing that is good there. The internet browser is IE7 which I don't really like. I wanted to download Mozilla Firefox there but the download process failed multiple times because of the connection.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... *freaking pissed 'AGAIN'*

When it was time to go home after I locked up and armed the branch, no TAXI in sight! I was panic because the sun light is hiding out and the dark filling in. If it's Shah Alam, it's okay. I don't mind. But mind you, this is Sungai Buloh where foreign workers are the most. You can see no Malay faces there. Only INDONESIAN, BANGLADESHI, VIETNAMESE, PAKISTANI, BURMESE, NEPALI and any other races or ethnic that I can't identify. The working environment is absolutely different from Klang.

They even have their own market, they called it 'Pasar Bangla' and serious, I tell you, when you walk by the area, you'll feel like you're not walking in Malaysia. The area is sooooooo INTERNATIONAL. I got no time to flick for pictures there because I was panic how to get home.

If God's will, tomorrow I will try to get some pictures. :)

dsc06767

Boarded train to KL Sentral at 8.00 pm and later dropped by Starbucks to have the Tazo's Mint tea. The cashier/barrista recommended to me the new toffee frappucino whatsoever to me, sounds delicious and refreshing but I just can't! Sore throat still.

Karma. What goes around comes around. I teased Rara when she can't consume any cold beverage when she caught flu, now it's my turn. Absolutely no ICE, only warm and hot beverages. Masya Allah.

They're lucky because I didn't object when I was posted to Sg Buloh. They're lucky that I didn't just leave the position like Johor Bharu branch staffs. They knew that I have a car, easier to move around. That's what I call, TAKING ADVANTAGE.

And now, who's TAKING whose ADVANTAGE?

p/s: this is a post with the most tag.

Virtue at its Stake

Quality takes time.

Patience is a virtue.

-- Brad Farmer

It's been 6 days I havent update my blog.

And I know, it's getting boring.

Somebody would say, I'm looking for quality contents, and indeed, no quality contents at all.

I'm waiting for my busy life to end next week while this week brought up so many things that turned me upside down.

HEADACHE #1

dsc06728See? How jammed Klang was?

On 3rd Nov 2008, I was stuck in almost 2 hours traffic jam in Klang! ya Allah. It's all because of the new highway construction and congested the whole town! I went out at 6.30pm and only reach home at 9.00pm.

HEADACHE #2

I fell ill on Tuesday (4th Nov) and took MC on Wednesday (5th Nov). I emailed my MC early in the morning before the branch was open to Abby.

your-eyesHahaha. LOTOS Group. :D

Later that evening, my fever got even worse, the body temperature raised and I phoned the office to inform that if I didn't recover before tomorrow, I will not come to work but I was greeted with fuckin-ear-piercing comment from the lady boss and that made me go mad,

Tell Azfar, Don't try to take advantage of our goodness here.

-- Lady Boss

I know it was me who called her to get a temporary position at her company but then, it's absolutely not right to talk to a sick staff in such way. Did she think she's a God who never fall sick?

Came to work the next day (Thursday) even didn't fully recover yet. I was totally dizzy, imbalance and my mind wasn't in place. I talked to the Lady Boss later in the afternoon and she asked sort of stupid question:

Why did you come?

Crap. When I was absent, you told Abby I'm taking advantage of your goodness even I was sick. When I came, you asked me stupid question. Is that how you talk to your staff?

I came because you said I'm taking advantage of your goodness until no goodness left in you.

I'm so freaking pissed here. No wonder, since I left the company in June 2008, my colleague complaint to me so many things and problems to me regarding the management and moreover recently, 3 staffs from a 3-staff-only-branch, QUIT. This is because they were so tempered with the management.

Taking things for granted, taking advantage et cetera is absolutely not my style.

I'm not fully recovered yet. Still I have sore throat, flu and cough. And now I'm authoring this post from Western Union Sungai Buloh's branch.

This is the last week of my suffering and disappointments. I'm truly disappointed with the company. I will not looking forward to work with them anymore in the future. They're so arrogant and be proud of nothing so they treat their staffs like trash and I don't care if they were kind to me before.

P/s: I'm in 'ting tong' condition right now X( cant balance my body and sometimes I feel like i want to collapse.
